The 16th edition of The Rise Global Summit of Tamil Entrepreneurs and Professionals, “The Rise16,” will be held from January 8th to 11th, 2026, in the historic city of Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India — the birthplace of The Rise movement. This landmark homecoming follows seven years of impactful global engagement, with chapters and footprints now established in 50+ countries and cities, and 15 successful summits already shaping the global Tamil entrepreneurial ecosystem.

This extraordinary gathering will bring together nearly 2000 delegates, including Tamil entrepreneurs, professionals, innovators, and community leaders from across the world, offering an unmatched opportunity to connect, collaborate, and co-create at an unprecedented scale.

The summit is anchored on seven key objectives:

Supporting entrepreneurs impacted by global trade challenges through collaborative and strategic solutions.

Branding and promoting Tamil Nadu as a premier destination for tourism, investments, education, trade, and human capital.

Providing a platform for SMEs and women entrepreneurs to scale globally via knowledge-sharing and diverse market access.

Facilitating cross-sectoral collaborations through global Tamil professional councils and forums such as TEC, GTEF, Aatral, TDI, GLF, TWI, TBI, TSF, THREPI, and GTAFP.

Engaging with and empowering the women of North East Sri Lanka to rebuild communities socially, economically, and culturally.

Proclaiming the next 70 years (2026–2096) as the Sangam5 Era, a new age of Tamil unity, excellence, and global influence.

Announcing the construction of “Thamizhalayam – தமிழாலயம்,” a global Tamil secretariat and unity hub within the planned Global Tamil Village & Country Club (Thamizoohor) in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu.
